Watervliet needs to have the same attention to housing rehab and mixed use business improvements as other towns are experiencing. Planning is the key. Set down on paper what to do, where to do it and how to do it and then find the funding and support and follow through.
19th Street has taken a small step in the right direction with the repair to the business fronts but is still a hodge-podge and needs new zoning and planning to keep moving forward. It is time to bring in new blood to get the town going in the right direction. Layout a plan and follow it.
